The weather was perfect for making music. The folks of the Hyde Park Farmers' Market are a pioneering and gracious group.

We made some new friends and welcomed some old friends, too. Sold some CDs, but mostly had a great time performing out of doors for such an appreciative audience on such an amazing autumn afternoon.

Check 'em out. (NOTE: We especially took advantage of the back drop of the virtual construction site where we found ourselves. I nicknamed it our "Folsom Prison" gig.)

The President's Day, February 18, 2008 Club Café CD Release Party was a great success! We had a great turn out. The band was as tight as ever. And, I sold some CDs! Thanks everybody. I can't wait to do it all again!

Tonight I saw Melissa Manchester at Sculler's Jazz Club with my sister. I'd seen her there a couple of years ago and got to meet her after the show. Though Melissa didn't greet guests after tonight's first show, I did leave my CD with her sound man. It was a great evening. As I state in my Bio, Melissa is probably the first significant musical influence of mine. She's an amazing singer, songwriter, musician and human being. Ahh! The adventure continues!!!

Saturday, December 8, 2007, I received notification from John Kinney, the Web Master of the Official Stevie Nicks website, "The Nicks Fix", that he's included my cover of Stevie's "Rose Garden" on the list of songs on "The Nicks Fix" website's 'Cover Songs' page.

Well, "The Flying Cowboys" (Jay P., Kristin M., Mr. Curt, Mike and me (with guest percussionist extraordinaire, Ray D.)) played four songs from "The J Sessions - Wishin'" CD ("Wishin'," "Never Without You," "Hello, My Old Friend," & "Rose Garden").

This being my first 'live' mic'd and amplified gig ever (which, apparently, was a surprise to most everyone), we did an awesome job, had a blast and received applause, accolades and appreciation. As a result, I sold some CDs, too. Very cool!

Next up? The Official CD Release Party is nearing its official planning stages. We're still tentatively scheduled for a date some time in January 2008. I'll keep you posted!
